Are lecturer still have to motivate university student ?

Thesis: Lecturers are not responsible for motivating students to learn.

The first argument:University student has strong mentality.

The second argument:University student is a person who is already self-discovery

Counter-argument:The lecturer has motivated their student who fell hopeless.

Conclusion: Lescturer not only provide material but also provide motivation to inspiring students

Have you ever felt that you need a boost when you're confused? Motivation is one way to evoke the spirit of someone who sedah feel confused. With the motivation of people would think to live a better life. But whether for a university student still needs motivation in learning? Are the lecturers still have to motivate their students to learn?

First of all, a university student is someone who is already an adult. They already have a strong mentality. They are also required to be able to make their own decisions. Lecturer in teaching, should not have to give a lot of motivation. Because students need encouragement to learn on their own. So, lecturer should not need to intervene in terms of motivating students.

Second, each student is a person who is already self-discovery. Therefore, not all students are those who want to be motivated. Because according to some people, motivation is a useless thing. Because it is also rare to hear each student motivation. Because they think the motivation is just nonsense. Because,  they assume that a motivator can not necessarily solve the problem of their own life.

Lastly, lecturer should focus on teaching material. Because the material is very necessary thing in improving the ability of the student's own work. Taught science professors that will be applied in the workplace. If only motivating, students will not know the capabilities and values of good work.

On the other hand, university students only human and can fall into confusion. In this case, the role of lecturer is needed to motivate students. Lecturers should be able to evoke the spirit of the students in preparing their workforce. Because motivation is needed most when a person feels fallen and miserable.

The conclusion is, lecturers as teachers not only provide material but also provide motivation to inspiring students. As an ordinary human motivation of students in dire need of lecturer to evoke the spirit of learning. If a student feels hopeless task of lecturer in making students re-energize the pursuit of his goal.
